The team

We are a global team supporting international stakeholders with diverse procurement needs. As part of the larger procurement organization, we partner with colleagues in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. We work alongside our internal stakeholders to support them with everything procurement related, from improving their buying efficiency to finding supplier partners for transformational initiatives.

 The role

You as our Global Category Manager for Professional Services, will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives across four key consultancy areas:Finance Services, HR Services, Consulting Services, and Legal Services. With a global spend influence of 30M+, you will manage the end-to-end procurement process utilizing the Coupa spend management platform, ensuring alignment with business goals while driving cost efficiencies, quality improvements, and service level optimization.

This role offers a unique balance between reactive and proactive approaches. You will respond to specific business requests with agility while proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance strategic initiatives that enable smoother, more efficient business operations.

In the job at HERE Technologies you will be day to day responsible for:

• Global Category Strategy Development
  Define and execute global category strategies for consultancy services (Finance, HR, Consulting, Legal), ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
• Proactive Business Partnership
  Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to anticipate business needs and drive initiatives that support strategic goals, ensuring smoother procurement processes.
• Supplier Management & Optimization
  Develop and implement supplier management strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service levels. Build strong relationships with key global suppliers and lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Reactive Request Management
  Respond to specific procurement needs, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, and negotiations, ensuring rapid turnaround aligned with company policies.
• Savings & Efficiency Initiatives
  Identify savings opportunities and drive improvements across professional services categories using industry best practices and supplier partnerships.
• Global Collaboration
  Work with regional and global teams to foster knowledge sharing and ensure the smooth execution of sourcing strategies.

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with significant global expertise in managing consultancy service agreements - (Finance, HR, Consulting, Legal).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional global teams and build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining long-term supplier relationships
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance reactive business requests and proactive strategic initiatives.
