What's the role?

Are you ready to be a strategic driver in the world of high value deals and business development? As a Deal Assessment Manager, you will play an important role in guiding our organization’s approach to responding to multi-million-euro Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Our current pipeline of potential deals exceeds €1 billion, and you’ll have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of evaluating and influencing this massive growth trajectory.

In this role, you will :

• Be a Decision Maker: Your analysis and insights will directly impact on our strategy and help shape the future of the company. You will not only crunch numbers but also be a key contributor to high-level business decisions.
• Collaborate Across Functions: You will work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, engineering, product, and tech support, gaining exposure to diverse areas within the business and building a robust network across the company.
• Drive Business Outcomes: Use your financial acumen and strategic thinking to drive outcomes that matter. Every project you assess has the potential to impact our growth and profitability on a global scale.

Your Main Responsibilities include:

• Leading Financial Analysis: Dive deep into RFPs, analyzing viability and profitability by developing detailed business cases. You’ll be responsible for building financial models that cover Gross Margin, Net Present Value (NPV), and Cash Flows. You will be using financial analysis to develop a response strategy.
• Influencing Strategy: Work with senior executives to develop the right approach for each RFP by combining your financial expertise with input from engineering and bid teams.
• Collaborating beyond the Bid Team: As part of the Bid Team, you will quantify and integrate engineering estimates, transforming them into actionable financial projections that support winning proposals.
• Engaging with Senior Leadership: Present your assessments to executives, influencing key decision-making processes that define our go-to-market strategy.
• Tracking and Optimizing: Post-RFP, ensure a seamless handoff to Finance for monitoring and referencing, creating a feedback loop to enhance future assessments.

Who are you?

You are a conceptually analytical “big picture” person who can see the connection between customer requirements, technology, and business impact. You are  skilled in providing Deal assessments which enable the HERE executive team to quantify an RFP. You are a strategic thinker, with strong financial acumen, that can drive the assessment process for large, complex RFP opportunities.

You will have success on this role if you possess the following skills , competencies and work experience:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business or Finance. Technical Degree with proven financial and/or advisory experience will also be considered.
• 10+ years of validated work experience in Deal Advisory roles with special emphasis on financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Analytical thinking skills that can identify business drivers from an analysis.
• Strategic thinking skills that can connect individual deals to the Company strategy.
• Influential storytelling skills that can synthesize complex scenarios.
• Aptitude to deliver excellent work under rigorous deadlines.
• Comfortable working with diverse groups from different backgrounds and located across the globe.
• You thrive as a team player with an attitude that every problem is solvable and enjoy solving those problems within set timelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
