JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for all medical equipment warehouse duties including but not limited to unloading trucks, receiving inventory, putting away inventory and processing staged orders to be shipped from the warehouse. This position processes Bills of Lading (BOLs) and selects the appropriate carrier is to be used depending on the location of customers receiving orders. Maintains a safe, orderly warehouse and participates in projects related to organization of staged orders, inventory, returns, inbound freight and outbound freight.
Work Hours: The standard work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM CST
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unloads inbound freight utilizing a pallet jack

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Driver's license required
- Forklift certification required (certification may be completed locally)
- Pallet jack/hand truck use
- Basic computer skills are required in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Typically 2 or more years of related experience.
- Previous warehouse experience is recommended
- Forklift experience is recommended
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Warehouse environment, utilizing typical warehouse equipment including a forklift, pallet jack and hand trucks in addition to typical office equipment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 - 100 pounds safely and regularly as part of daily job duties.
