JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for collaborating with the Dental Practice Transitions (DPT) valuations team in processing reporting, evaluating data and preparing final practice valuation documentation output for the benefit of Clients of the DPT Transition Sales Consultants (TSCs). From review and analysis of practice and financial records and submitted supporting information, to specific data entry into existing financial workspaces, Salesforce.com CRM and document templates, the individual in this role will be required to promote accuracy and consistency with an acute attention to detail contributing to the production of professional and market superior valuation products.

  • Track missing items and communicate with Transition Sales Consultant (TSC) to facilitate completion of the package, including cadenced follow-up directly with client's and/or their professional advisors (i.e. Accountants) on behalf of the TSC until received.
  • Analyze missing or incorrect information and independently advise on the appropriate next steps to move the package forward.
  • Apply thorough understanding of financial acumen to recommend changes after review of complex documentation.
  • Update TSC/SCC on package and maintain current progress status and all communications in Salesforce.
  • Review and analyze financial records:
    • Process, review and evaluate tax returns and other financial statements from TSCs and clients and cross reference with CRM (Salesforce) to ensure complete and accurate records (updating where required).
    • Identify key areas within financial documentation and provide recommendations for executive intervention as needed.
    • Upon final review, update constituents accordingly.
    • Enter data to prepare valuation into templates provided, updating any missing client information in Salesforce, including from questionnaire and supplementary reporting, to record information collected in addition, but not limited to, the status of valuation process.
    • Redacting documentation as per company policy, compiling data and preparing documentation for valuation preparation.
    • Completing self and peer review of valuation packages after check-in and prior to processing to ensure no errors or missing information so to improve operational efficiency, reduce production time and increase accuracy with specific focus on providing the highest-level end product and client experience.
    • Participates in all areas of the valuation department through cross-training, including the preparation of equipment only valuations and cash flow summaries.
    • Prepare Practice Profiles on behalf of the high producing TSCs, upon request.
    • Participating in special projects and performing other duties as requested by supervisor.

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce.com (with provided training), as well as internet basics including the ability to broadly and specifically search sites for data
    • Understanding of sales processes for business sales
    • Understanding of financial documentation including Tax Returns (state and federal) as well as Financial Statements (Balance Sheets and Income / Profit and Loss Statements)
    • Mathematical aptitude and computer applications skills required

    MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

    Typically 4 or more years of related experience.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:

    Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor's degree preferred.

    TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

    The posted range for this position is $42,541 to $74,447 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
