JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department. The assignments are related to the academic major and the degree of the Intern. The assignments may include conducting research. As possible, a reasonable balance will be made between the intern's learning goals and the specific assignments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Events Marketing, Commercial Development and Equipment Marketing with planning, marketing activities and communications, reporting, administration support and other.
- Organize & create marketing and training materials for events, trade shows and commercial development programs including presentations, sales collateral, signage, promotions, invitations, e-communications, social media, and other.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive insights and decision-making
- Familiarity with marketing tools and processes
- Knows and understands Excel, Power Point, Word and other Office products
- Knowledge of media trends and social media
- Design experience with Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Canva, or other similar tools a plus
- Strong organization
- Creative
- Self-starter
- High attention to detail

WORK EXPERIENCE:
No professional experience required. Relevant previous experience is a plus
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Junior, Senior, or graduate level in college studying Business, Marketing, Communications or similar concentration.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Remote position with some in-office meetings at manager's discretion. Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
COMPENSATION:
The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your education and location.
Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location. This rate also applies to candidates enrolled in a college program but have not yet started those studies.
Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location. This rate also applies to candidates enrolled in an advanced, post-graduate degree program but have not yet started those studies.
Candidates possessing a bachelor's degree or equivalent and currently pursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree (i.e., MS, MBA, JD, etc.) can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location.
