JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for inventory management operational processes, driving lean process flows and optimized real estate management supporting multiple entities within the MSO Savannah operation. Accountable for systems and execution of processes to ensure compliance to inventory requirements. Executional knowledge on software system e.g., Pick Pro, ERP, Labeling software. Team direction on process execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily operational process and flow design to manage inventory across multiple entities at Savannah MSO location. (Finished goods, semi-finished goods, and raw material)
  • Optimized flow and layout to drive efficient real estate use. Implementation of processes to support new technology e.g., VLM and software system to support.
  • SKU velocity mapping and location layout (Carousel, Flowrack, VLM, Static)
  • PickPro System execution and translation from software engineering to end user.
  • Cycle count system owner and accountability on execution.
  • Aligned process and execution in partnership with commercial partners for response to aged inventory, no demand inventory.
  • Data Analytics to support system execution and adherence to requirements.
  • Team direction on process execution including training.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Proven ability to work with multiple functional groups.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, and Excel required.

  • Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. On the operational floor, standing large portion of day.

Position typically works in a manufacturing environment on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a manufacturing environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, and operate manual and non-manual machinery; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch and lift up to 20 pounds. Position requires that the employee use eye protection as required in manufacturing areas.
