JOB OVERVIEW:

The Inbound Sales Representative - Surgical (ISR) plays a key role in handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional service. This call center driven position involves responding to customer requests via phone, fax, internet, and email, while also upselling products and gathering competitor pricing information. The ISR will collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and promptly.

Please note: The work schedule for this role is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain rapport with customers, delivering exceptional service at every interaction
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests for orders, production information, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations via multiple channels (phone, email, fax, internet)

  • Adequately discuss products and services with customers
  • Enter orders, retrieve customer information, view stock status and purchase order information and make changes on customer orders in our system (JDE)
  • Upsell products during the order process and contribute to special company promotional programs to earn additional compensation
  • Review customer information and proactively identify sales opportunities to achieve sales goals & metrics measurements
  • Maintain call reports and track outbound sales opportunities
  • Request competitor pricing information to help grow accounts.
  • Ensure that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information
  • Track customer packages and handle any complaints with professionalism and prompt resolution
  • Ensure all customer orders comply with necessary licensing requirements
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and perform other duties, as assigned

  • SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
    • Strong PC skills including dual monitor usage
    • Experience with Microsoft Office
    • Printer, copier, and fax machine experience
    • Good attitude, high energy level
    • Experience with JDE and Salesforce preferred
    • Sales experience is a plus

    MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
    • Typically two or more years of related experience including one year customer service experience.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:
    • Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training
    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

    COMPENSATION:

    The posted range for this position is $33,815 - $59,176 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to be fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
