JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and team success within their designated area, while ensuring alignment with Brasseler's strategic goals. This role emphasizes coaching, development, and execution excellence to support the broader sales strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, coach, and develop DSMs to consistently meet or exceed sales and gross profit targets.
  • Collaborate with the AM to set team goals and align efforts with company priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Co-travel to assess and enhance DSM performance in consultative selling, territory management, and product knowledge.
  • Address escalations effectively and identify solutions for field challenges.
  • Promote Brasseler's culture of respect, trust, accountability, and diversity.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard DSMs, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
  • Monitor and guide DSM activities to achieve area sales and gross profit goals across customer classes and product segments.
  • Support the AM in developing compensation plans, promotions, and incentives to drive team success.
  • Work with the inside sales team to boost activities and meet area sales objectives.
  • Represent the area at trade shows, coordinating with the Event Planner and AM.
  • Manage relationships with Area Key Opinion Leaders in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Ensure DSM compliance with tools, systems, and processes (e.g., CRM, TMP Calendar, Showpad).

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 7 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; first-level manager.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically 50% or more with minimum of 8-10 over nights per month.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit for extended periods of time; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch and lift up to 15 pounds.

Job demands may require airplane flights and long periods of driving.

Job demands may require occasional heavy lifting, up to 20 pounds.

The posted range for this position is $84,355 to $131,805 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
