Senior Manager for the Migration team is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of migration initiatives. This includes leading a team of technical professionals, managing project timelines, and ensuring that migrations are completed efficiently, securely, and with minimal disruption to business operations.
Job Description:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals working on migration initiatives supporting technologies SAS, Informatica, Tableau, Alteryx, Redshift, etc.
- Provide guidance on technical issues, career development; foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement migration strategies and plans.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and goals.
- Oversee the technical aspects of migration initiatives, including system design, data transfer and integration.
- Ensure that all technical requirements and specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during migration process.
- As a primary point of contact between stakeholders and the migration team.
- Provide regular updates on Agile deliverables, status, risks, and issues.
- Implement best practices to minimize the impact of migrations on business operations.
- Conduct post- migration reviews to identify reviews and lessons learnt and areas of improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Agile methodologies & leading technical teams is essential.
- Strong technical background in systems architecture, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Experience leading Technical Teams in ETL or ELT processing technologies like SAS, Informatica, DBT, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Redshift, Postgres technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges.
- A Master's degree or relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent project management and organizations skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver results.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Agile development methodology
Hiring Range:
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $162,600 - $248,795
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $139,000 - $212,670
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
