The Director Enterprise Delivery Services, in support of their assigned strategic focus area develops, implements, and executes strategies to deliver on the Healthfirst strategic plan. This person has the responsibility to educate the company, suppliers and other invested parties on all technology, process and organization changes in his/her assigned focus area. The Director leads a team including product owners and operational leads to deliver change that enables operational teams to provide exceptional execution for our customers. This position plays a major role in the enterprise transformation of Healthfirst, and will oversee any on-going implementation or refinement after any launch or process improvement changes are released into the business. Will engage in a highly collaborative manner with our leaders and will partner to ensure the success of all change management efforts.

  • Lead various Healthfirst leadership and project teams in the development of the transformation blueprint needed to deliver the specific strategic objectives for the assigned focus area
  • Define/refine strategic imperatives for strategic focus area
  • Define the 1-5 year people, process and technology blueprint through cross-functional engagement
  • Create the dashboard and measurement criteria for blueprint success
  • Collaborate with respective functional operations owners to ensure the successful implementation of the defined roadmap
  • Identify and ensure required talent capabilities are understood and in place to support blueprint success
  • Create staffing plans to support future state
  • Create and deploy training and development strategies as needed
  • Guide change management planning and facilitation of change initiatives
  • Partner across the Enterprise Delivery Services leadership team to identify and highlight conflicts, risks, prioritization needs and interdependencies for leadership evaluation and prioritization
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Define high level business requirements & acceptance criteria associated with requirements
  • Identify metrics and KPIs that will demonstrate the value of the work delivered.
  • Monitor & manage business value delivery to operational area
  • Prioritize work through operational metrics that identify process improvement opportunities
  • Own a delivery roadmap that addresses prioritized operational opportunities
  • Partner with enterprise groups to assess impacts to their department, with associated prioritization and scheduling within delivery roadmaps
  • Collaborate with respective functional operations owners to ensure the successful implementation of the defined roadmap.
  • Accountable for the operational and user readiness for the delivery of changes; understand the impact of change, translate the approach to manage adoption and mitigate resistance.
  • Lead solution design across operations and technology teams for roadmap intent
  • Utilize communication channels and an approach which are efficient, engaging, and appropriate for respective stakeholders
  • Make data-driven decisions
  • Build a deep understanding of customer to meet their needs & delivery value
  • Lead by example while developing team members through coaching and learning plans
  • Ensure the comprehensive set of activities for product delivery are well-managed
  • Proactively manage all key stakeholder expectations and relationships
  • Build people and teams through collaboration, actively seeking input and perspective from others, being an active listener, and celebrating success and failures as opportunities for improvement
  • Actively manages all project and key stakeholder expectations and relationships, including vendor management.
  • May manage Agile Product Owners.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • 3-5 years of Product Management or equivalent experience with successful history of delivering complex solutions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Process and delivery training and/or certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or LEAN
  • SAFe certifications (SP, SPC, or PM/PO)
  • Any of the following are a plus:
    • Familiarity with provider collaboration tools (Provider portals, HIE, CMS Interoperability)
    • Experience implementing system upgrades/replacements in the healthcare industry (Managed Care Organization, Hospital, Pharmaceutical, etc...)
    • Industry work experience in Healthcare such as hospital, managed or long-term care, insurance, government, or other healthcare agency.
    • Knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) and Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations

Hiring Range:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $150,800 - $230,690
  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $124,400 - $190,315

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.

The hiring range is defined as the lowest and highest salaries that Healthfirst in "good faith" would pay to a new hire, or for a job promotion, or transfer into this role.
