Healthfirst's 2025 Summer Trailblazer Internship is a 10-week paid program beginning on June 2, 2025. This is an immersive and interactive learning experience, that lays a foundation for continued leadership development. Interns do impactful work, collaborating with other interns, employees, and business leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions. Position Summary: Claims Program - Mission Impossible Team (Analytics Engineering) Mission Impossible Team is a fast paced, innovative agile delivery team. Our mission is to ideate, design, engineer, and release data solutions through applications such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, etc. We are looking for data driven analysts that are focused, collaborative, and passionate about leveraging data technology to create impact and add value to our end-users.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and interact with curated datasets hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Effectively blend and clean the data to get to the right insight based on the requirements
- Support data validation and functional testing
- Create an accurate report or insight observation/finding that meets the stakeholders' needs and helps achieve business outcomes
- Collaborate closely with Product Owner and Tech Lead that will hand off projects, set priorities and inspect the output of the final analysis
- Set delivery expectations accurately and relentlessly communicate the status of high priority items
- Create and update data workflow diagram and reference documents
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school
- Familiarity with SQL, R or Python (Tableau or Power BI is a plus)
- Familiarity with general Excel formula and functionality
- Familiarity with Visio or equivalent
- Continuous Learning Mindset
Hiring Range:
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.

The hiring range is defined as the lowest and highest salaries that Healthfirst in "good faith" would pay to a new hire, or for a job promotion, or transfer into this role.
