Description and Requirements
Healthfirst's Summer 2025 Internship program is a 10-week paid internship beginning on June 2nd. We will provide an immersive and interactive learning experience that lays a foundation for continued leadership development. Interns will do impactful work, working together with other Interns, Employees, and Business Leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participates in internal and external meetings between Healthfirst, external agencies, NY State partners, and essential providers
- Receive and respond to requests for information regarding provider and member-specific information
- Generate ad hoc and repeat reporting to support the Behavioral Health department

Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.
- Will not require sponsorship for employment
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school
Hiring Range:
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.

The hiring range is defined as the lowest and highest salaries that Healthfirst in "good faith" would pay to a new hire, or for a job promotion, or transfer into this role.
