Description and Requirements

Healthfirst's 2025 Summer Trailblazer Internship is a 10-week paid program beginning on June 2, 2025. This is an immersive and interactive learning experience, that lays a foundation for continued leadership development. Interns do impactful work, collaborating with other interns, employees, and business leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions. Who We Are: For nearly 30 years, Healthfirst has been serving New Yorkers. We helped pioneer the value-based healthcare model-where hospitals and physicians are paid based on patient outcomes-because our company was founded on the belief that insurers need to be true partners in the health system. Position Summary: In today's competitive landscape, organizations are increasingly focused on enhancing operational efficiency and member satisfaction. In the Delegated Vendor Management (DVM) space, incorporating an intern would be critical for us in our shared service functions along with leveraging fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and dedicated support to improve overall member experiences. This role will support market intelligence by building new analytic tools for strategic planning to support proper governance, including all lines of business and market segments - both existing and new. This role also will support the aggregation of our diverse and everchanging Medicare Stars portfolio of initiatives to support our supplemental benefits for members/providers.
