Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Hartford Region Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute, the manager is responsible for the operations of The Center for Advanced Heart Failure and Pulmonary Vascular Disease. This includes personnel management, financial management, and operational management, as well as collaboration on staff and program development. The manager oversees the daily continuum of care for the Heart Failure programs and specialty services and provides leadership and direction to providers and clinic staff. The manager directs the work across the department to ensure the overall workflow offers an optimal patient experience and is managed in a safe and efficient manner. The position also has the key responsibility to ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory standards. The manager monitors and supports key business outcomes to include growth, service excellence, staff performance, patient outcomes and achievements of overall short and long term goals of the departments, the organization, the Heart and Vascular Institute and the system as a whole.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing [BSN] Masters (Preferred)
Experience
Three plus years leadership experience preferred.
Prior Cardiology/Heart Failure experience. (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, Registration
Current Connecticut RN license
