We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to be based at our multi-user site in Ollerton, where you'll be given the opportunity lead your own team from the front and really make a difference. You will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 however flexibility may be required.

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of £27,736.64 per annum. In addition, we offer 20 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Team management; developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
  • You'll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you'll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
  • You'll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible
  • Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multi-channel
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
