We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team, on a permanent, full-time basis in Goole. You'll be responsible for the warehouse function, managing your team and ensuring that all warehouse tasks are completed in line with company policies and customer requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working hours are Monday-Friday ,6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on a weekly rotating basis

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £37,500 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Take full operational responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse on your shift. Lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging targets
  • Build an effective succession plan to empower the team and promote their skills within the company
  • Always ensure that H&S Standards are met, and that all unsafe behaviours and practices are managed
  • Ensure daily / weekly / period KPIs are achieved for your team and warehouse function.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous management experience, ideally from working in a similar fast-moving and customer-focused environment
  • An understanding of continuous improvement tools, health and safety, compliance, and employee relations
  • Excellent people management, coaching influencing skills
  • Strong Communication skills
