As a Warehouse Manager on our site in Oosterhout you realize efficient and effective handling of the flow of goods, that it is ready for transport in accordance with the logistics planning and the KPI's within the specified time and with the established quality standards. You also are responisble for the storage of goods is efficient and according to agreement with the customer. In your role of Warehouse Manager you manage a Shiftleader directly, who manages multiple Teamleads and Coordinators. You will work in a day shift and report to our Operations Manager and Site Manager.
What you do on a typical day
- Provide input, disseminate and monitor the operational policy regarding the operation
- Managing, coaching, assessing and developing employees in accordance with applicable procedures and laws and regulations
- Monitor and manage the realization of the established KPIs and ratios
- Providing services in accordance with the Service Level Agreement and the realization of quality objectives as agreed with the customer
- Identifying bottlenecks and initiating and implementing improvements
- Proactively dealing with possibilities for improvement and problems of the processes. You make proposals to improve the process and implement it after approval

What you need to succeed at GXO
- HBO Bachelor / Universityworking and thinking level, towards business administration / logistics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a large group of people in a warehouse
- Knowledge of WMS functionality and logistics processes
- Good communication and social skills that you fluently can express (verbal and written) in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- Able to build and secure structure and manage the organization accordingly
- You can be described as independent, proactive andanalytical
