We are currently expanding at our ASOS site in Barnsley (S72 7GX) and are looking for a Warehouse First Line Managers to join our team. You will be working within our Inventory department, where you'll lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals. This will involve focusing on continuous improvement and fostering a team-based culture.

The role will be offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 6 months, with working hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 22:30 to 07:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of £33,425 per annum, and 232 hours annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Deliver clear operational direction, leadership, and development to your team of operational staff
  • Closely monitor KPIs and performance levels, ensuring that we're always meeting or exceeding our SLAs
  • Manage the allocation of work on a daily basis, controlling headcount and overtime budgets and ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets met
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous experience in managing a team in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of the warehousing process
  • Confidence in the use of a warehouse management system
  • The ability to effectively lead and manage a large team
