Here at GXO, we are looking for aTransport Supervisor to lead our Night Ops team inWellingborough. Working for a prestigious new customer, you will fully run the nightly cross-docking transport operation, ensuring customer KPI's are met, all vehicles are operated within legal parameters and drivers are managed within compliance.
This is aPermanentfull time role working Sunday to Thursday between the hours of 22:00 - 06:00. However, flexibility is required. This is logistics after all!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £37,000.00 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Tracking the fleet, managing core drivers, and route planning
- Ensuring the current transport plan is fully executed in line with or as close to the original plan
- Escalate any customer service delivery issues through discussion with the customer.
- Working with the Transport Compliance & QHSE Administrator to ensure fleet and drivers are fully compliant with legal and company requirements.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience of working in a complex, fast-moving environment
- Confidence in your abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach demonstrating a strong belief in your skills while actively engaging in tasks and leading by example
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- International CPC qualification - essential
- Extensive transport experience
