Here at GXO Thatcham, we are recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join our team , working in partnership with a prestigious, high-performance running footwear and apparel brand. As a Transport Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of our transportation operations, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency.
This is afull-timeandpermanentposition, working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of08:00- 16:30.

You'll be paid a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Coordinate transportation activities for several clients.
- Work closely with, and provide guidance to, the Transport Clerk
- Arrange despatch based on client routing guidelines, and booking via different carrier/client portals
- Manage communications, informing client about the shipping dates or any possible delays.
- Process import and export orders and the respective shipping processes with prioritisation of different shipments
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a fast paced transport operations role
- Strong communication skills, and excellent organisation skills with an eye for detail
- The ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative and organise own workload
- Problem solving - reacts quickly & appropriately to issues, follows up in a timely manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is a must
