Here at GXO, we are looking for a Transport Co-ordinator to join our team in Knottingley, working on our TJX contract.

You will be working 48 hours per week, on a Night shift pattern working on a '4 on, 4 off' shift between the hours of 18:00 - 06:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Reporting to Transportation Manager with all day-to-day transport activities
  • Managing transport planning related issues with a solution-based attitude
  • Liaising with drivers for smooth movement of goods and materials
  • Understanding of transport compliance, working time and EU driving hours
  • Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods

What you need to succeed at GXO :
  • Administrative experience preferably within a logistics environment
  • Computer literate, good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience of GTS planning tool would be advantageous however training will be given
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
  • Be able to work cohesively and well with others
