Are you highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented? We are currently looking for a Transport Administrator to join our Co-op team in Andover. As a Transport Administrator, you will be an essential part of our business, responsible for managing delivery schedules, communicating with customers and ensuring the seamless operation of our transport activities.

This is a full-time, permanent role and the shift pattern you will be working on is '4 on 4 off', covering the hours of 06:00 - 18:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Ensuring that all staff members are adequately debriefed and that all paperwork is compliant
  • Monitoring tachographs in accordance with legal requirements
  • Handling day-to-day queries from drivers, customers and internal departments
  • Liaising with stores to keep them informed about any delivery issues
  • Resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during the night shift

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Tachograph compliance and familiarity with WTD (Working Time Directive) is advantageous
  • Experience in a similar transport administration role would be a bonus!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
