GXO Logistics is growing and is looking for motivated managers to strengthen the team at its location in Venlo. We are looking for a fulltime Team Leader Outbound!
What does your day look like as a Team Lead Outbound?
As Team Leader you are responsible for the daily logistics operations, with the aim to provide our customers with the best service. You are responsible for safety, quality, and productivity within your department, and you coordinate operational activities in such way that goals and KPI's are achieved.
Your focus is not only operational, but you can also and will set goals for the near future in which you will involve relevant (cross-departmental) others.

You will lead your team with help of approximately 4 Coordinators, in a positive and constructive way. You are there for them! After a day of hard work, you report results and particularities to the Warehouse Manager.
What do you need to be successful?
- Educational background on MBO level, preferably in logistics
- At least two years of demonstrable work experience in a similar role
- Experienced in working according 5S
- Good knowledge of theEnglish language(verbal and written) - Dutch is nice to have
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and WMS functionalities
- You have good knowledge of logistic processes
- You can work in a team as well as independent.
- You oversee cause, effect, and coherence.
- You are characterized by continues improvement and therefor anticipates on opportunities and know how to set priorities.
- You are an example to your team members and colleagues.
