Do you have experience as a Team Leader within Logistics? Are you passionate about ensuring your team perform at their best, ensuring our service levels are top quality? Would you like to be part of our amazing team based in Enebakk, Norway? then read on as we have just the role for you!

As Teamleader, you are responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the department with particular emphasis on managing warehouse associates and implementing warehouse action plans. You will establish and maintain procedures for meeting company and customer commitments, promote/implement continual improvement within your team, provide ongoing training, motivation and leadership as well as conflict resolution and enforcing company policies/procedures.

What will you do on a typical day
  • Manages team performance continually, develops associates by providing training and coaching
  • Responsible to meet all operational KPI's
  • Assigns duties and monitors work completion for accuracy
  • Maintains a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required
  • Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams
  • Responsible to make recommendations regarding hiring, terminating, performance evaluations, and promotions
  • Daily interaction with internal and external customer on operational level
  • Personnel scheduling to support all shifts and accounts, plan and organize staff workload
  • Maintain documentation of processes that are followed by the department
  • Train associates so an up to date understanding of processes, policies and procedures are maintained
  • Consciously dealing with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water and fuel consumption

What you need to succeed at GXO
  • Intermediate Vocational Education in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent
  • Proven operations experience in a similar role managing a team
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Norwegianis nice to have
