What you do on a typical day
• Maintain and develop a safe work environment (Safety is our first priority)
• Manages performance continually by developing and training associates.
• Fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues andadministering corrective action as required.
• Working in line with the LEAN philosophy and work on productivity improvements
• Work with local leadership to define requirements for operations and ensure that theimplementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed theserequirements.

• Responsible for exceeding customer expectations and metrics (cost, quality, andresponsiveness). Daily interaction with internal and external customer is required

What you need to succeed at GXO
• Bachelor's degree (Logistics or related field preferred). Experience may substitute foreducation.
• Leadership skills (2-4 years managerial experience).
• Production and planning/optimization experience.
• Accurate, responsible and Pro-active attitude
• Ability to analyze and coordinate
• Internal and external problem-solving attitude
• System Knowledge (LEAN; ISO; systems process / orientation).
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Experience with safety systems and tools
• Strong systems aptitude and must be proficient in MS Office applications, withemphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Data center, server, or IT-related experience is a plus.
