Currently recruiting for our site in Bleiswijk, are you an experienced Site Controller or working within a similar role then this is an exciting time to join our team.
- Hybrid working, 3 days office, 2 days from home
- Standalone Site Controller role, opportunity to work closely with the Site Manager and Customer directly
- Experience dealing with full P&L
- Fluent in English, with Dutch as a nice to have
What you do on a typical day
- As a Site Controller you are giving advice in all business relevant questions to site leadership in controlling and financing aspects.
- Active role in development of the site in accordance with site leadership in alignment with the company's strategic direction.
- Prepare month end analysis of manufacturing productivity and variances.
- Assist or manage various ad hoc finance requests.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain narratives for financial closing, expenses, capital expenditures and other business-related processes.
- Manage local accounting function of the business to ensure adequate accounting and management controls are in place; build up and maintain effective internal controlling system.
- Ensuring that appropriate procedures and controls are in place according to company requirements.
- Lead the local budgeting / planning process to meet the strategic goals and company deadlines.
- Take corrective measures if deviation from the budget occurs.
- Work closely with manufacturing to understand issues and how they affect financial results, including identifying key cost drivers.
- Lead Cross Functional teams to arrive at Root Causes and develop Corrective Action(s)
- Responsible for all financial and legal matters of investments on site. Regular comparisons of planned and actual operating and financial performance of the investments. Assures a timely and complete financial reporting of the investments.

What you need to succeed at GXO
- Bachelor's or master's degree in an Economics, Finance, Business or similar or previous experience of working as a Site controller or in a similar role.
- Ability to manage full P&L
- Experience within supply chain is preferred but not essential
- Fluent in English verbal and written, Dutch would be of benefit
- Previous experience of ERP systems, reporting and Excel
- Ability to engage with stakeholders, internally and externally
