What you do on a typical day
• You will maintain the day-to-day operational focus and lead the operational team on daily basis
• You will work in the warehouse according to the LEAN philosophy and take charge of operational implementations, evaluations & budgets

• You will be coaching and mentoring your team, managing situations where a consensus needs to be found
• You will be responsible for a safe working environment
• You will be the primary contact person for your customers, managing expectations/statistics, implementing and delivering on KPIs and productivity targets
• You will be involved in forecasting and budgeting for your accounts
• You will report to the Site Manager
What you need to succeed at GXO
• Master's degree in supply chain/Logistics or equivalent through experience
• At least 5-10 years of experience in a warehouse environment and the necessary maturity
• Good financial and business acumen
• Flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment
• Ability to work in a multi-client, multi-team environment
• Lean background - ideally 5S
• Ability to think outside the box and solve problems methodically
• Knowledge of WMS systems
• You have experience in/with a 3PL organization
• Languages: Fluent English on a business level. Dutch is desirable
