Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for aRegional Transport Distribution Managerto cover ourSouth East sites of Feltham and West Thurrockon behalf of our Costa/Whitbread customer. As part of the Operational leadership team , you will play a key part inensuring that the transport operations of both sites always run efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all required compliance regulations are met. You will hold overall budget responsibility for both sites and deputise for the General Manger for South East, as required.

Both sites are a 24/7 operation therefore the working pattern for this position will be 5 from 7, working hours will be flexible due to the needs of the operation.
Pay, benefits and more:
We're looking to offer a salary of up to £62,500.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
- Have full responsibility for the transport operation across both sites, ensuring full compliance of all vehicles, people and process
- Review all KPI's and SLA to ensure maximum productivity thus achieving "best in class" transport operations
- Develop direct reports and provide leadership and guidance across the sites
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with our customer, communication on all day-to-day operations
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Previous experience manging a fast-moving transport operation
- Excellent knowledge of transport legislation
- Ability to work under pressure and to a tight deadline
- Business acumen and commercial awareness
- Holder of a Full International CPC - Managers
- An ability to influence and motivate people, with exposure to managing a large team
