2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

As the Lead, Quality Systems is a hybrid position that splits their time between two areas in Quality; Training and Internal Auditing. You will be responsible for executing effective employee onboarding and training programs and for conducting internal audits on processes for compliance with requirements.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Evaluate processes for compliance with quality requirement
  • Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules and conduct quality audits
  • Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement
  • Schedule and conduct the new hire onboarding process, assign all new employees to the correct training roles, and audit all onboarding training requirements for completion
  • Manage the QMS Employee Training Manager system and create customized system reports as needed.
  • Conduct hands on training of employees on operational standards and procedures
  • Recording operational proficiencies aligned with skill assessments
  • Organize and execute a process for maintaining, filing, and storing all training records; both in hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Documenting non-conformance, observations and recommendations for improvement
  • Preparing and presenting quality audit and training status reports to management
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • High degree of computer literacy with Google tools (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to mentor and coach employees
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational details
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team of trainers & auditors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read standard operating procedures and conduct hands on training of employees as needed
It'd be great if you also have:
  • Associate of bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities
  • At least 1-2 years' experience as a quality auditor in a related industry experience
  • Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems
This job requires the ability to:
  • Lift up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Sit and stand for extended periods of time, and work in an office, warehouse, or data center environment
  • Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, twist, squat, and kneel
