Here at GXO, we are looking for aPensions Administratorto join us in Northampton on a fixed term contract for 12 months. OurPensions teamare responsible for the delivery of pension services to GXO in the UK and Ireland.In this exceptional and varied in-house role your principal focus will be ontransactional activitywithin our payroll processing cycles in addition to providingadministrative supportto our wider pensions team.

Whist this is a Monday to Friday working pattern, we are open to flexible working to fit around you and would be happy to discuss this further.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 dependent on experience. In addition, we offer days 25 days annual leave (exclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Keep up-to-date with pension legislation and monitor regulatory changes and market developments in pension provision. Training will be given.
  • Operate within the company procedures and guidelines for keeping the company compliant with its obligation under pensions legislation
  • Support with projects to improve the effectiveness of the department's service to the business
  • Act as a key contact for colleague's pension queries, divisional HR teams and external advisers and providers ensuring queries are resolved comprehensively and accurately and within agreed timelines to the departments customer service standards.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous Administration experience - ideally within a payroll/pension background
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong PC skills with good knowledge of creating and maintaining spreadsheets - you will need to use daily.
  • A good level of numeracy and IT literacy including strong excel skills
  • Enthusiastic with a "can-do" attitude
  • Excellent communicator - both written and verbal
