Here at GXO Logistics, we're looking for an Operations Manager to provide expert leadership and direction across our operation, ensuring a high-quality and safe service is delivered to all our customers. Working at our expanding, multi-contract site based in Ollerton, you'll be responsible for preparing and managing the warehouse budget and business plans, whilst supporting and managing the development of your team.

Your working hours will be 4 on 4 off days, between the hours of 06:00am to 18:00pm however, some flexibility may be required.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum and 23 days holiday (Including bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Set individual safety objectives for all members of the team and ensure that the site's safety performance is met
  • Produce and review forecasts with the customer in line with business performance
  • Utilise labour and other resources to effectively manage the overall warehouse operation
  • Monitor your team's performance against customer KPIs, ensuring targets are met
  • Drive change and continuous improvement initiatives

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Proven successful warehouse management and transport operations experience is essential
  • Strong team management and coaching skills, coupled with the ability to drive and implement change
  • Highly analytical and IT literate
  • Experience working with internal and external customers, with the ability to influence stakeholders
