Here at GXO are currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Lead warehouse operativeto join our team at Daventry, NN6 7EL ensuring that all things logistics are coordinated on site!

This is full-time, permanent role and you will be working 40 hours per week on a rotational shift of 06:00 -14:30 / 14:00 -22:30 any 5 from 7

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • To maintain productivity and performance levels as set and agreed with the Manager
  • To assist management in directing staff to ensure efficient completion of the daily workload
  • Be responsible for the performance of the team and ensuring that targets are met, and deadlines are hit. Make sure colleagues are clear as to their targets and expectations
  • To be vigilant at all times and highlight any problems to the FLM
  • To ensure GXO operational, health and safety procedures and policies are adhered to at all times

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Knowledge of WMS along with good knowledge of spreadsheet and Word programs
  • Interpersonal skills that respond in a positive manner to the requests of the customer, your team, colleagues, and management
  • The ability to bring attention to detail to the role that ensures that a high level of accuracy is achieved
  • Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads with the ability to work under own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
