To expand the HR team BeNe (Belgium, the Netherlands), we are looking for an HRIS Functional Application Specialist. As an HRIS Functional Application Specialist, you are responsible for configuring and managing various HR systems, including Protime (time registration) and the Visma application for approximately 3,500 employees in the Netherlands, as well as the payroll application in Belgium (Level 5). In addition to basic management, you will also be responsible for developing new functionalities and processes in the various applications.

In this role, you will work at our head office in Eindhoven (we also have a partial working from home arrangement) and report directly to the HR Team Leader HRIS en Reporting.
What will you be working on as an HRIS Functional Application Specialist:
- Configurating and managing various HR systems, you are the colleague who controls and configurates the back end of various HR applications.
- Identifying the needs of management and HR colleagues, asking questions, and translating the needs into an (automation) solution.
- Tackling HR (system) projects together with your HR colleagues in the fields of recruitment & selection, time registration, talent development, and employment conditions, advising on how systems can support these areas.
- Taking a leading role in (automation) projects and coordinating contacts with users, stakeholders, external partners, ICT, and suppliers about requirements, functional changes, priorities, and implementation.
- Managing the various HR applications functionally; handling day-to-day management as well as the further development of new functionalities in the applications.
- Integrating these improvements into the HR work descriptions and processes within the department.
- Supporting the (key) users of the applications and answering support questions from employees throughout the organization.
- Contributing to and developing HR (policy) topics that go beyond just automation.
What do we ask of you:
- HBO working and thinking level with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. We also invite you to apply if you've worked for two years as an IT functional administrator.
- Strong skills in Excel and preferably some experience with Visma, Protime, PowerBI, and/or SD Worx.
- Meticulous work ethic, performing well under pressure, and flexibility.
- Perfect command of English and Dutch on at least level B1.
- Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
