We are currently looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Clicklink operation in Northampton. You'll work as part of the on-site customer service team to provide updates and reports to our clients, along with aspects of data entry and analysis, to support network compliance and continuous improvement.

The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll join us on a '4 on 4 off' shift pattern, working 06:00 - 18:00. If you haven't worked this shift pattern before, please be aware that it does include weekends and you must be able to commit to this.

You'll be paid a salary of up to £25,958 per annum. What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Monitor delivery and driver performance and escalate to customer transport teams and GXO senior management accordingly
  • Communicate with the GXO Clicklink transport network to obtain regular updates and information to support customer service resolution
  • Provide accurate performance reports to clients on a daily and weekly basis
  • Ensure documentation is dealt with accordingly, including driver manifests and PODs

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous customer service, admin or coordination experience within a transport or third-party logistics environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to understand the client's needs and requirements
  • Good organisation and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Computer literate and confident with the use of MS Excel, experience with M-Netics ePod/eTrack or Microlise is beneficial
