Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking to join an organisation that can offer you the training and development to progress your career?

At GXO, we recognise that it's our people that help keep the nation moving so due to continued growth, we are looking for Class 2 Drivers to join us in Trafford Park! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering freshly roasted Costa Coffee beans and delicious food items to our stores, ensuring that they receive their orders in top-quality condition and on time.

You will be working a minimum of 48 hours per week, on an 'any 5 from 8' shift pattern, with start times between 05:00 and 08:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient products on a multi-drop basis
  • Loading and unloading products and stock from a vehicle using sack barrow
  • Collect waste and return it to the site
  • Carry out pre and after-use vehicle checks in line with company policy
  • Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly
  • Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Hold a valid UK Driving licence with Category C (Class 2)
  • Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
