Business Development Manager

What will you do during a typical day?
• Manage existing customers and potential customers
• Actively prospect, pursue and qualify potential clients, implement successful selling strategies/technique to identify Leads and potential Opportunities. Organize Site Visits and Sales Meetings to present and promote GXO capabilities and operations.
• Build and manage executive level relationships with internal stakeholders and account owners
• Define and propose specific approaches to meet and exceed customer needs
• Collects relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepares necessary documents

• Prepare and propose logistics solutions to the clients
• Build and maintain exceptional customer relations to solve their problems
• Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare and attend client meetings
• Respond to incoming inquiries
• Prepare various forms and reports for sales department
• Organize marketing events, meetings
• Ensures that activities are aligned with global/regional sector strategy
What do you need to apply?
•Bachelor's degree
•Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
•Excellent planning and organization skills; ability to multitask and be a self-starter
•Computer skills, proficient in MS Office (Power Point, Word, Outlook, Excel) and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
•Self-dependent, entrepreneurial, goal-orientated and accurate way of working within cross- functional and international teams
•Good understanding of contract logistics operations
•Experience on similar position
