Here at GXO, we're looking for anAutomation First Line Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

To lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement and fostering a team-based culture. This role will primarily ensure operational efficiencies through automation technology.

This role is located at one of our biggest online fashion retailers' sites in Crick. You will be working on the shift pattern of 'any 5 from 7' with the hoursof 16:00 - 00:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £32,900 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Manage workflow through automation solution, including AGV/AMR technology
  • Understanding workflow within Warehouse Management System (WMS), Warehouse Control System (WCS) and Robot Control System (RCS)
  • Ensure all direct activities have a relevant standard operating procedure and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of working in a complex, fast-moving environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Experience of working within an automated warehouse environment
