What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is responsible for providing agile project coordination support for the development and maintenance of a global information system supporting a US Federal Government client. As part of a Project Management Office (PMO), the IT Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders (business owners, development team members, etc.); defining requirements; identifying process improvements; managing scope, schedule, and risk; conducting testing; drafting system guidance, and reporting project status to stakeholders. As part of an agile team, the IT Project Coordinator will maintain the product backlog, refine user stories with business owners and developers, establish and maintain the release plan, and demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Four (4) or more years of professional experience, at least THREE (3) in Agile/Project Management


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • PMP Certification

  • Agile Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, Product Owner, etc.)

  • Project management knowledge and experience on IT-related projects with priority given to the use of an Agile methodology

  • Experience using Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodology to plan and manage work against iterations and releases

  • Experience monitoring project progress and implementing effective corrective actions if actual progress falls behind the plan

  • Experience facilitating meetings with clients of varying levels to gather, document, prioritize, and analyze system specifications and user requirements, working closely with developers and testers in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to elicit requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to offer solutions and articulate the business impact to clients in a clear and concise manner

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
