Role Summary & Impact
As a Senior Associate, Paid Search, you will manage the campaign execution process for our clients. You will have already advanced beyond the initial stepping stones of understanding the fundamentals of Paid Search.

In this role, you will have increased responsibility and accountability for campaign execution, gain further exposure to strategic campaign management, and will mentor junior teammates. You will be regarded as the steward of the internal search buying process and expected to provide strategic recommendations to senior search team members. You will learn how to manage paid search accounts within Pharma, an interesting, niche industry, that allows for a lot of growth and value.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the day-to-day management of the search plan including oversight of bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/billing.
- Perform keyword research developing keyword lists, for Search Manager's review, using proprietary agency tools.
- Run search reports on a regular basis to mine for new keywords, negate irrelevant queries, compare creative asset performance, pacing and any other ad hoc reports our client(s) request.
- Build initial drafts of ad copy refreshes/campaign launches, based on briefing materials, website content and client direction. This includes extensions, ad copy and keyword builds.
- Write initial draft of insights for performance reports including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, and yearly wrap reports.
- Traffic, upload, and QA keywords & ad copy in Google & Microsoft Ads editor.
- Stay on top of the latest updates regarding tools and User Interfaces (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Bid Management Platforms, eMarketer, SEMrush, Search Engine Land, AdCenter, etc.).
- Training of offshore Associate(s) and oversight of their deliverables.
- Maintaining and aiding in the creation of processes and documentation (Launch Checklists, Bulksheet Templates, etc)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience.
- 1-2 years of practical experience running paid search campaigns.
- Hands-on experience planning/buying across Google and Bing using tools such as Google Ads (Editor), Microsoft Ads (Editor), Search Ads 360, & GA4.
- An in-depth understanding of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaign management and optimization practices.
- Comfortable creating and uploading bulk sheets into Google & Microsoft Ads editor.
- Knowledge of third-party platforms such as Shopify, Northbeam, TripleWhale, or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written skills; exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail.
