Position at GroupM
Senior Associate, Growth assists in the planning, development, and implementation of departmental activities across all NA offices. This role is also responsible for researching and developing prospects for GroupM and assist in creating unique prospecting plans. Additionally, responsible for maintaining an accurate and comprehensive database of agency information, relevant to new business pitches.
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as the central information hub for agency and pitch team
- Accountable for taking notes during meetings, conference report generation and distribution
- Assist in writing, proofing, and designing of presentations, including RFI's and agency collateral materials, including brochures, case studies, employee bios, etc.
- Create, maintain, and distribute pitch timelines: calling out specific responsibilities, needs and enforcing deadlines.
- Organize and maintain central depository of all new business material and general material, i.e., fact books, questionnaire responses, basic credential, slides, presentation boards, case histories, personal bios, photos, records of specific presentations and prospect files
- Coordinate and manage all presentation materials with design team and/or third party production companies
- Produce background profiles, initial research, and prospect plans on potential clients
- Research and follow industry contacts for lead generation linking connections within our agency
- Field global and internal requests
- Prepare new business weekly status reports
- Keep updated on current and printed industry news as it relates to new business/potential clients; highlighting and summarizing for distribution to the department
- Fully understand branding guidelines and serve as a "brand ambassador" for the agency

Required skills / experience:
- An exceptional ability to establish and maintain effective relationships inter-departmentally, intra-departmentally and throughout the network of agencies
- Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
- Strong client service skills
- Outgoing and comfortable communicating effectively to all levels, especially senior leadership
- Ability to work successfully within a team as well as independently
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Can quickly adapt in high-stress situations and work well under pressure/deadlines
- Comfortable and personally active in digital media and social media space
- Engaged in advertising and media industry and news/trends
- Effective written communications skills, including skill in proofreading for grammar, spelling and editing
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a professional manner in any given environment
- Ability to keep all work-related information confidential as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's Degree; preferred concentration in Marketing/Advertising/Communications a plus
- 1-2 years' experience in Marketing, Advertising, Media, or other relevant industry
- Strong computer skills a must; knowledge of graphic software (Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator) a plus
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $100,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
