Role Summary and Impact
Join our dynamic team as a Manager of Business Intelligence, supporting our innovative client, PayPal. In this highly technical and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for delivering insightful, data-driven recommendations to optimize media performance across the full marketing funnel. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting to provide actionable insights to both internal teams and the client. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment. You will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting a team of Senior Associates, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all reporting and data-related tasks.

Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all media channels, providing actionable insights to optimize campaign performance.
- Client Communication: Present data-driven insights and recommendations to clients, effectively communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support a team of Senior Associates, providing guidance and training to ensure the accurate and efficient completion of all reporting and data-related tasks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with investment, planning, and other internal teams to ensure alignment on measurement strategies and reporting requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve reporting efficiency, leveraging automation and other tools.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau), Excel, and potentially coding languages (SQL, R, Python) to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets.
- Full-Funnel Measurement: Understand and report on the performance of full-funnel media plans, encompassing awareness media (TV, OOH, linear) and performance media (digital, social, programmatic, search).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; OR equivalent professional work experience.
- Proven experience in a highly technical business intelligence role, with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Expert proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, particularly Looker.
- Familiarity with mobile attribution partners and in-app focused media.
- Experience with a variety of media platforms and data sources, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and ad servers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in a media agency environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the financial technology (fintech) industry is a plus.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
