Overview:

We are seeking an experienced instructional designer to help us design and build new learning opportunities in fulfillment of this mission.

Your Impact:

  • Lead needs assessment and learning strategy development for assigned curricular areas (e.g. business practice areas, leadership and management programming, early talent development).
  • Build and socialize learning solution recommendations to achieve discipline-specific outcomes, identifying appropriate delivery methods and techniques to address learning and learner needs.
  • Design and develop engaging learning content and activities, including e-learnings, instructor-led courses, reference guides, job aids, and performance support.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies and structures to enable scalable delivery of our learning programs across our various agencies, office locations, and audiences
  • Partner with subject-matter experts to translate written content and existing materials into visual descriptions (graphics, animations, interactive charts, and graphs, video-based scenarios) accurately.
  • Create high quality supporting materials including participant guides, facilitator guides, story boards, scripts, tutorials, digital interactives, assessments, simulations, audio, and video that can be leveraged by subject-matter experts and Learning Team at scale.
  • Apply instructional design theories, practice, and methods to enhance learning process and transfer of knowledge.
  • Partner with our facilitation team on the pilot and assessment of new programs
  • Create and manage project plan, using sound judgement to identify scope, RACI, and assign timeframes for tasks to be completed.
  • Continuously analyze program performance, learning experience, and business needs for strategic improvements to ensure we are delivering best-in-class programs and achieving learning outcomes.
  • Act as a leading voice and advocate for learning within the organization and beyond

Qualifications:

  • Six to eight years of prior relevant experience in learning and development.
  • Significant knowledge of instructional design and experience developing and deploying on-demand eLearning, instructor-led, and blended solutions.
  • Proficient in adult learning and instructional design methodology (ADDIE, etc).
  • Skilled in e-learning authoring tools (i.e. Articulate 360).
  • Experience as a strategic learning and development advisor to the business and conduct needs analyses.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with an ability to engage a range of audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships and excellence in customer service.
  • Full cycle project management experience.
  • Knowledge of media / advertising a plus.
  • People management experience required.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
