Location: Remote (Candidate should be located either in Asia or Europe for project coverage purposes)
Summary: The Regenerative Agriculture Manager is a global role that will support Griffith Foods' 2030 Aspirations on Regenerative Agriculture through the implementation of our Regenerative Framework and principles. They will have interaction across Griffith Foods worldwide operations and supply base and will support the execution of a range of social and environmental programs at a regional and local level.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the integration of Griffith Foods' Regenerative Framework into the design of existing and new projects and lead partnership development with suppliers, customers and other external stakeholders.
- Foster coordination and collaboration among both internal and external stakeholders, guaranteeing project adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Evaluate and develop programs related to numerous cropping systems and landscapes to bring organizations together to cascade regenerative agriculture and support large- and small-scale farmer livelihoods.
- Develop the process to monitor and evaluate the execution of regenerative projects to assess organizational performance against strategic goals and impact metrics.
- Ensure the incorporation of greenhouse gas emission management and social development practices in the design and execution of regenerative projects.
- Report on environmental and social impact of programs including metrics within soil health, greenhouse emissions, water quality, biodiversity, and farmer livelihoods.
- Communicate, influence and develop capabilities at a global and regional level in the adoption and scaling of regenerative practices.
- Proactively understand current and emerging best practices to transform information into useful resources to raise awareness and keep the company up to date on the regenerative trends.
- Participate in global working groups and represent Griffith Foods at membership events and conferences.
- Contribute to internal communications and external sustainability disclosures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of work experience in related fields.
- Postgraduate studies or certifications in the field of agriculture, agronomy, and/or sustainability a plus.
- Ability to engage across a wide spectrum of stakeholders from senior level executives within Griffith Foods and external organization, as well as "boots on the ground" engagement when collaborating with communities, suppliers and partners.
- Strong research and analytical skills, effective communication, and proven ability to train others.
- Experience in an international work environment. Experience influencing, energizing, and working with diverse, multi-stakeholder teams from multiple geographies and cultures.
- Demonstrated expertise on sustainability, regenerative agriculture, climate, and social work with farmers (large and small) or rural communities.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and partnerships development. Be an expert on the application of sustainable agriculture principles from a project management perspective.
- Execution oriented and strong abilities to build teams through influence.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a strong plus.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
- Travel 25% domestically and internationally.
