Team Lead Company Support

The Team Lead Company Support is responsible for the facility management of the Herentals' site, overseeing all aspects of building functions and managing the support activities necessary for the organization, ensuring the functionality, comfort, safety, sustainability and efficiency of the built environment.

The Team Lead Company Support leads the team to create the best possible working conditions for the employees.

Tasks

  • People management: leads a team of 4-5 team members, empowers the team and enhances productivity by giving regular feedback and offering support.
  • Owns the budget for the facilities' needs.
  • Supplier management: negotiates prices/contracts with external vendors, manages the SLA's en supervises the contracted work.
  • Organizing cleaning and maintenance tasks in the team or delegate to external vendors (general cleaning, specialized cleaning, window cleaning, industrial cleaning, sanitary hygiene, etc.)
  • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as manufacturing environment, offices, meeting rooms, changing rooms and sanitary facilities, parking.
  • Green care: planting around the company, maintenance of the garden/lawns/green areas.
  • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed in the infrastructure, furnishing, renovation, maintenance of the buildings and utilities (paintwork, all kinds of odd jobs, winter services, renovations, HVAC, gates, etc.)
  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
  • Ensuring proper security and surveillance measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals. Point of contact camera surveillance, company emergency response facilities, maintenance/replacement of equipment such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc.
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
  • Creating reports on maintenance and repairs.
  • Organizing waste management.
