Included Health is currently looking to add a Revenue Cycle Collections Specialist to its growing Revenue Cycle Management team. The Revenue Cycle Collections Specialist will use their advanced skills and knowledge to follow up on claims to ensure timely and appropriate collections. This role includes all aspects of the revenue cycle management including denial management, appeals, reimbursement rate negotiation and accounts receivable collections.
Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve insurance denials
- File appeals on denied or underpaid claims
- Check claim status on appropriate payor portals and contact insurances as needed
- Send Medical Records and other documentation to payor upon request
- Conduct Accounts Receivable Claims Follow up with patients and payors for payments
- Negotiate out-of-network reimbursement rates with insurances
- Review of Accounts Receivable Aging reports and work claims based on priority. In addition to tracking, monitoring and escalating payor trends that may impact cash collection goals
- Meet daily, monthly, and quarterly billing metrics

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare billing and collections
- Experience in all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management
- Experience in Behavioral and/or Mental Health billing preferred
- Knowledge of Commercial Insurance and Government Payor guidelines
- Understanding of insurance benefits and reimbursement
- Proficient in medical terminology, HIPAA and other critical governmental regulations
