Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $111,500 to $185,800.

Position Details
The Senior Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's EHS operating model and compliance. You will guide the engagement and performance management of EHS team members, managing up to 10 employees. This leader integrates EHS policies into broader business strategies, collaborating with leaders to promote a strong culture and risk-aware decision-making. You will oversee regulatory compliance, supports company locations with new requirements, and develops effective EHS training and communications while managing external consultants and vendors. You will travel up to 40% to the various locations in an assigned region.
You Will
- Leads the effective development, implementation and continuous improvement of the company's EHS operating model, strategic objectives, goals, other initiatives and related compliance--ensuring EHS targets and deliverables remain on track.
- Guides engagement, development, and performance management of EHS team members--directly managing up to 10 employees, including corporate and site-level professionals.
- Integrates EHS policies, standards, procedures and controls into broader operations and business strategies and frameworks--collaborating with leaders and team members to promote a strong culture, risk-aware decision-making and behaviors, and actions that drive EHS and overall performance.
- Collaborates with company locations on EHS performance, develops and improves strategies to prevent injuries and incidents, supports risk assessments, incident management and investigations, and implements corrective and preventative actions. Takes the lead during EHS crises.
- Oversees regulatory compliance, supports company locations with new requirements, interacts with regulatory officials, and leads regulatory reporting processes as needed.
- Develops and delivers effective EHS training and communications, represents the company in internal and external groups to share best practices, and manages activities of outside EHS consultants and vendors.
- Analyzes injury and incident data to understand patterns and trends, identifies and proposes practical solutions to mitigate risks.
You Have
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 7+ years EHS role in a corporate or government environment.
- Significant knowledge, expertise, and experience in EHS and demonstrated ability to integrate EHS into broader business and operations processes.
- Deeply understand business and operational strategies and objectives and apply and align them with EHS strategies and objectives in order to develop integrated solutions and win as one team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, are required. Must be able adjust communication styles and approaches to different situations and audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, collaborative leadership style are required to influence and effectively work with team members at all levels throughout the company. Must be able to foster constructive dialogue, build consensus, and address conflicting views.
- Proven ability to lead and develop people, build high-performing inclusive teams, translate strategic vision into actionable plans, inspire others to achieve goals, drive continuous improvement, and demonstrate the company's principles by incorporating diverse perspectives and feedback.
- Ability to own and execute projects and other work to deliver high results, directly and through others, and to prioritize appropriately. (Intermediate proficiency)
- Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) Professional certification. Preferred
