Position Overview:

As the PIM Systems Manager/Data Architect, you will oversee the delivery of our Content and Product Information Management (PIM) solutions. Your expertise will guide the development of standards, guidelines, processes, and improvements that address strategic data issues such as data quality, cleansing, standards, and integration. You will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing our taxonomy and attribute models, ensuring our product information is precise and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee PIM and related downstream systems, including Monotate, Google Shopping, SOLR, Mongo, and TERM, ensuring they meet stakeholder needs.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop direct reports, demonstrating strong performance management skills.
  • Software Maintenance: Manage software updates and system setup maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with functional teams and third-party stakeholders to address complex content-related problems.
  • System Evaluation: Measure PIM system effectiveness, reporting findings to management and driving continuous improvement.
  • KPI Management: Establish and manage Key Performance Indicators, tracking and analyzing taxonomy changes.
  • Process Support: Support Product Information processes, Category Reviews, New Product Introduction, and Maintenance to ensure the highest quality results.
  • Feature Development: Direct the development of new features in conjunction with IT resources and business partners.
  • Integration Management: Manage integrations with downstream systems and third-party partners.
  • Operationalization: Implement new features and processes, ensuring effective support, documentation, and training.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Library Sciences (MLIS), Business Systems, or related field.

Preferred Education: Master's degree.

Required Experience: Minimum five years in a technical or commercial role. Proven success in leading high-impact changes and collaborating with multi-functional teams. Project Management experience across business/technology teams, ensuring alignment between business models and systems architecture. 3+ years in information architecture, taxonomies, ontologies, product information, and related digital UX disciplines.

Preferred Experience: E-commerce experience, especially in B2B Manufacturing or Distribution. Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Skills: Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent verbal communication skills for presenting complex information to diverse audiences. Proficient in data analysis and reporting. Ability to work in environments with aggressive deadlines and production requirements.
