Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $93,000.00 to $154,900.00.

Position Details
This role will be responsible for providing onsite leadership and oversight of the Supply Chain Rotational Development Program (SCRDP). The Manager will be responsible for leading milestone activities, facilitating development, training and driving & calibrating performance of participants in the SCRDP. This includes ensuring that our SCRDP team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in their roles as well as provide opportunities for further career growth and development. Additionally, this role will partner with the program leadership, and Global Supply Chain (GSC) leaders to ensure the long-term success of this rotational development program and improve the overall approach to training and development for the Global Supply Chain organization.
You will report to the Sr Manager, GSCCE Continuous Improvement & Program Management. This role is based in Bordentown, NJ.
You Will
- Provide onsite leadership and oversight of the Supply Chain Rotational Development Program (SCRDP). This includes talent recruitment, managing rotation assignments, and coaching and developing the SCRDP team members to ensure a successful overall program experience.
- Lead key activities including onboarding, graduation, development milestones, and transitions out of the SCRDP into other roles in Grainger upon completion of the program.
- Implement, facilitate and manage relevant developmental training for the program, virtual and in person classroom learning, e-learning, assessments and job rotations.
- Monitor and analyze ongoing operational trends to improve training, quality and effectiveness of the overall SCRDP experience.
- Partnering with cross-functional managers in GSC to drive performance management for participants. This includes monitoring participants performance, coaching and identifying developmental opportunities.
- Guide the GSC partners, including DC Operations, Branch Network, Inventory and Transportation in prioritizing and developing an end-to-end leadership/professional development strategy and curricula with available resources, in coordination with stakeholders, and aligning with organizational strategic priorities.
- Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to improve service, reduce cost, and drive business results, develop CI mindset in SCRDP participants.
- Identify and implement program metrics to measure the effectiveness and derived business results of the Program and identify the need for changes, additions, and /or deletions of program.
You Have
- BA/BS or equivalent preferred and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Experience in training & development and/or operations.
- Strong public speaking, facilitation, and coaching skills with a desire to see others succeed.
- Proven leadership ability that manifests itself in building trust; coaching; motivating teams; setting direction and approach; managing change; resolving conflict; delivering tough messages; executing with limited information and ambiguity.
- Ability to multi-task projects and assess priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be able to interact and collaborate with, as well as influence, at all levels of the organization
- Proven relationship management skills that enable effective navigation with leaders, program stakeholders and team members.
