Position Summary:
Leads eCommerce sales growth initiatives within the field through the consultation with sales leaders, sellers, and customers on the positioning, capabilities, and penetration of eProcurement, OMS, and related eCommerce solutions. Supports Seller education on all aspects of Grainger's eProcurement platforms including sales techniques and methodology. Creates insight-driven solutions for different types of customers using Grainger's eCommerce solution abilities. Ensures an effortless customer experience by leading sales partners and customers when partnering with eBusiness Implementation, eCommerce Support, and enhanced eComm Support. Also provides key analysis and insights to drive eShare penetration and ongoing adoption across all eProcurement enabled accounts.

Job Responsibilities (You Will):
- Establishes and creates plans for eCommerce account penetration strategies and sales goals.
- Educates and supports the seller organization with regards to eCommerce capabilities during the initial presentation and closing process for new accounts.
- Meets with customers on a regular basis to drive eCommerce conversion and penetration within those accounts.
- Performs customer demos, training for large customer groups that demand training, and assists sellers with sales calls, RFP/RFI's and Quarterly Business Reviews when required.
- Creates, plans, and drives for improved seller confidence and expertise in providing online and eProcurement solutions to customers.
- Strategically monitors sales of assigned customer types and defined regions to drive business to our eCommerce platforms by regularly generating utilization reports and communicating results.
- Acts as knowledge base expert for eCommerce capabilities and trends within the current marketplace.
- Looks for new opportunities related to driving eCommerce spend within our ePro and Grainger.ca accounts. Monitors, tracks and communicates results and effectiveness of eCommerce programs within their defined area.
- Ensures that assigned Sellers and Sales leaders are successfully supported to deliver eCommerce messages and solutions available.
- Ensures timely implementation of all eCommerce projects by assisting the sales force in gathering customer requirements. This includes leading work with all stakeholders such as sellers, project and IT implementation teams to define customer account structures and impacts related to eCommerce integrations.
- Works as a liaison between sales management, sellers and customers to communicate key eCommerce initiatives and future developments.
- Scope potential opportunities for enhancements to Grainger eCommerce platforms and tools in partnership with Enterprise Systems.
Education/Experience (You Have):
- 3-5 years' experience with eCommerce and/or eProcurement in sales, services, or IT
- Sales experience with at least 2 years with a large organization recommended
- Expertise in eProcurement systems and marketplaces
- Proven experience in creating/identifying user requirements with large scale systems
- Ability to set eCommerce targets and design growth plans
- Excellent presentation skills
- Passion for the customer and strong drive for results
- Ability to persuade and handle objections
- Ability to gain a high level of professional credibility with customers
- Proficient computer skills (preferably in Microsoft Office suite)

Compensation:
This position is salaried and will pay between $80,000 - $95,000.
This role is bonus eligible. Factors involved in determining the salary include, but are not limited to: a candidate's experience, qualifications, and geographical area.
