Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- 9 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- 4 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
- Experience with both back-end languages (e.g., Java or Python) and front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in providing technical solutions to business challenges.

As a Web Solutions Engineering Manager, you will be a leader within the Global Partnerships Tools (GPT) and the broader organization, informing our overall tools strategy and also innovating with Artificial Intelligence (AI) within our tools. You will lead a small global team of Web Solutions Engineers to deliver on the promise of AI powered tools that drive productivity and strategic value for our partners.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Responsibilities
- Lead the team by defining the overall architecture of systems developed by Global Partnerships Tools.
- Design, implement, launch and land code with a focus on long-term maintainability. Own significant portions of the design of systems including authoring and presenting design specifications, guiding the team to ensure rigor in code development.
- Work with Product, UX, and business domain experts to translate organizational needs into technical decisions, and build systems that meet those needs.
- Balance engineering work across the team of Googlers and vendors, anticipate bottlenecks or shifts in capacity and make data-driven optimizations and adjustments to work allocation.
- Prioritize teams deliverables to ensure smooth, quality and timely execution of deliverables.
